Don’t Starve Together Finally Heads to Mobile This July

Playdigious has officially announced that Don’t Starve Together will launch on Android and iOS on July 21, 2026, bringing Klei Entertainment’s beloved multiplayer survival game to mobile devices for the first time.

The release marks a long-awaited return for the project, which was previously planned under Netflix Games before being cancelled in early 2025 alongside several other titles.

A Survival Classic Arrives on Mobile

Originally released as the standalone multiplayer expansion of Don’t Starve, Don’t Starve Together has built a dedicated community thanks to its unique art style, challenging survival mechanics, and cooperative gameplay.

Players are dropped into a mysterious world filled with strange creatures, environmental hazards, and hidden secrets. Survival depends on gathering resources, crafting tools, building shelters, and adapting to the ever-changing dangers of the wilderness.

The mobile version will allow players to explore vast procedurally generated worlds featuring diverse biomes, underground cave systems, ancient ruins, and distant locations such as the Lunar Islands.

Cooperative Survival at Its Best

One of the game's biggest attractions is its multiplayer experience.

Players can team up with friends in private sessions or join others online to face the world's many challenges together. Cooperation plays a key role, whether it's gathering resources, expanding a base, farming crops, or battling powerful seasonal bosses.

According to Playdigious, the mobile version has been adapted specifically for touchscreen devices while preserving the core gameplay experience that made the original so popular.

The port will include a redesigned user interface, controller support, cloud save functionality, and additional optimizations aimed at delivering smooth performance on mobile hardware.

It's worth noting that another highly anticipated title, Aniimo, is also set to launch in Q3 2026 on mobile, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

With overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam and a strong reputation among survival game fans, Don’t Starve Together remains one of the most celebrated cooperative survival titles of the past decade.
