Game of Thrones: Dragonfire Launches Worldwide on Android and iOS

Warner Bros. Games has officially launched Game of Thrones: Dragonfire, a new mobile strategy title now available globally on Android and iOS devices. Developed by Warner Bros. Games Boston, the game previously underwent a soft launch in selected Southeast Asian regions during 2025 before opening global pre-registration earlier this year.

A New Battle for Westeros Begins

Inspired by HBO's hit series House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones: Dragonfire transports players to Westeros 172 years before the events associated with Daenerys Targaryen.

The story follows a descendant of Old Valyria who has recently bonded with their first dragon. From there, the journey centers on expanding influence across Westeros, forging alliances, and ultimately competing for control of King's Landing.

Build Armies Around Powerful Dragons

One of the game's main features is its roster of 28 unique dragons, including fan-favorite creatures such as Caraxes and Syrax, alongside several original dragons created exclusively for the game.

Each dragon comes with its own set of Command skills, passive abilities, troop bonuses, and strategic synergies, allowing players to experiment with different army compositions. Up to five dragon-led armies can be deployed simultaneously across the game's tile-based battlefield, creating a wide range of tactical possibilities.

Seasonal Conflicts and Alliance Warfare

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire introduces a living world system built around seasonal events known as Reigns. These limited-time seasons refresh territorial conflicts, competitive rankings, and story developments while preserving permanent progression, including dragon growth and upgrades.

Players can also join Alliances, coordinate attacks with allies, and battle for control of iconic castles and locations throughout Westeros.

Campaigns and Dynamic Storytelling

Beyond large-scale strategy gameplay, Dragonfire features narrative-driven Campaigns inspired by the political intrigue and power struggles that define the Game of Thrones universe.

The game includes branching storylines, evolving objectives, cinematic moments, special events, and side activities such as the Dragon Strike minigame. Player actions can influence how certain events unfold, creating a shared experience that evolves over time.

Available Now With Additional Rewards

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is now available worldwide through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Players can also unlock exclusive in-game rewards by linking their HBO Max account and watching House of the Dragon Season 3, adding an extra incentive for fans of the franchise to jump into the action.
