1047 Games Officially Announced Empulse—6v6 Shooter Inspired by Titanfall

A few days ago, it was revealed that 1047 Games, the studio that is known for Splitgate game series, is working on a new shooter titled Empulse. The game was described as a spiritual successor to Titanfall, as it focuses on vertical gameplay, including the ability to run on walls and use giant robots spread all over the map. Fortunately, gamers didn't have to wait too long for the official premiere, because the developers confirmed the rumors and announced the game.

As mentioned by Reddit user, Empulse shadow dropped on Steam before the official announcement, and on their social media, 1047 Games addressed this leak. You can now add the game to your wishlists, and developers will reveal more information about their latest project soon, during a Q&A session on Reddit planned for May 21 at 9:30 AM PT.

“We wanted to share EMPULSE on our own terms, but leaks happen. We knew the risk and took it anyway, because getting real feedback early matters more to us than a perfect reveal.

As follows from the game's synopsis on Steam, EMPULSE is an upcoming fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter. Outmove and outgun your opponents across the post-utopian streets of Freehold. Fight for control of mechs to turn the tide of battle for your Crew. You can also sign up for Early Access on the game’s website, which is scheduled for this year. Empulse is confirmed to be in development for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 and doesn’t have a release date yet.
