Croteam Announced The Talos Principle 3 - The Final Installment of the Franchise

Croteam announced the new game in The Talos Principle franchise—the third installment, which is stated to be “the last chapter of the thought-provoking first-person puzzle series.” The announcement is accompanied by a debut, 46-second game teaser.

Besides The Talos Principle 3 will be the last title in a game series, Croteam also revealed the first details of the upcoming game. It takes place in a weird world, full of abandoned temples and scientific outposts. Players will also be able to explore the Anomaly—a place where physics doesn’t work properly; specifically, here up is down, and down is up. Moreover, the main character can’t remember how he ended up here, and the developers promise the gamers will see both familiar and completely new puzzle-solving mechanics.

The release date for The Talos Principle 3 is still unknown; the game is confirmed to release on PC and PlayStation 5. You can also add it to your wishlist on Steam.

The original game came out on PC in December 2014, and during the next few years it got released on Android (May 2015), PlayStation 4 (October 2015), iOS (October 2017), Xbox One (August 2018), and Nintendo Switch in December 2019. Then, in 2013, Croteam released a sequel, The Talos Principle 2, and the original game received a remastered version, titled The Talos Principle: Reawakened, which was released last year on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
