Sandfall and Pure Arts Reveal a Life-Size Gustave Arm Replica for $429
Sandfall Interactive and collectibles company Pure Arts have unveiled a $429 life-size replica of Gustave's prosthetic arm from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The piece marks the game's one-year anniversary and will not ship until the third quarter of 2027.
The Arm of Gustave Life-Size Replica measures 19 inches long. Pure Arts lists the material as premium polyresin with a marbled finish and gold accents, mounted on a sculpted rock base decorated with red flowers. Pre-orders are open through the company's official Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 collection page, which is the only confirmed retail channel. Customers will not see the piece arrive for more than two years.
The merchandise push lands during a year in which Expedition 33 became only the second game ever to sweep all five major Game of the Year awards, matching a record previously held only by Baldur's Gate 3. Sandfall's debut took home Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards, the DICE Awards, the GDC Awards, The Game Awards, and the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards. At the April BAFTA ceremony it also won Debut Game and Performing in a Leading Role, the latter for Jennifer English as Maelle.
Gustave begins Expedition 33 as the playable protagonist. He builds the Lumina Converter to power up the expeditioners before their fight against the Paintress, then dies in a battle against Renoir at the end of Act One, losing the arm in the process. Maelle later mounts the severed prosthetic on a memorial site for him in the second half of the game.

I think the decision to base the replica on the arm in its memorial state rather than on Gustave wearing it is the more honest call, since the character's death is the act that pushes the rest of the game into motion. A clean, in-use version would have read as a prop.
The 19-inch scale matches what a human prosthetic at full extension would measure, which puts the piece somewhere between a desk object and a shelf display. The rock base and red flowers reproduce the in-game memorial framing rather than the workshop where Gustave originally built the prosthetic.
I see $429 paired with a Q3 2027 ship date as the kind of pricing that screens out impulse buyers, since collectors who hold a slot for more than a year are also the ones least likely to flip the piece on resale once it arrives.
The arm is not Sandfall's first physical product tied to Expedition 33. The soundtrack has been pressed on vinyl, an official art book is set for release later this year, and Lost in Cult's Lock-On gaming journal will use the game's art on the cover of its next issue. The Pure Arts collaboration is the first in-character physical replica from the franchise.
Expedition 33 launched in April 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Sandfall released a one-year patch on the same day the arm replica went up for pre-order, adding anniversary haircuts and fixing collision issues across several locations.
Pure Arts has not disclosed the size of the run beyond confirming it is limited. Sandfall has not announced additional figures or replicas from the game.
Read also, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sold 8 million copies since launch. Sandfall announced the figure on the game's X account to mark the one-year anniversary and shipped a patch the same day with anniversary haircuts for Gustave at the Gestral Merchant near Stone Wave Cliffs and for Verso, Maelle, Lune, Sciel, and Monoco at the Gestral Merchant near Grosse Tête on the world map. Several collision fixes and achievement description adjustments shipped with the cosmetics.
