007 First Light Revealed to Have 20 Hours of Story Duration
This month, IO Interactive will release their new game not related to Hitman universe – 007 First Light, an original story about James Bond. Last week, some gaming media shared their first impressions, which suggest that a very intriguing project is in store for gamers.
Specifically, 007 First Light might impress players with its spectacular combat system, multiple ways to complete missions, and cinematic action. What’s more, according to GameSpot, the game is a strong contender for the title of best game of 2026 and is undoubtedly the best James Bond video game.
For many players, 007 First Light is primarily appealing for its storyline, including its quality and length. And while we’ll have to wait a bit to see the quality once the game becomes available to everyone, in a conversation with YouTuber JorRaptor —who received early access to the game—the developers at IO Interactive confirmed that 007 First Light will offer about 20 hours of gameplay, as you can check out below:
Recently, the studio also revealed the title sequence of 007 First Light, featuring Lana Del Rey, similar to James Bond movies. The game is releasing on May 27 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and later in 2026 it will be available on Nintendo Switch 2.
