Brawl Stars Mega Rush Launches on May 2 with Huge Rewards for Players

Supercell has rolled out exciting news for Brawl Stars players with the launch of Mega Rush, a limited-time event that began on May 2. This new feature offers a valuable opportunity to earn Mega Boxes, helping players boost their progression much faster.

At the same time, the ongoing Trophy Rush event is already live, allowing players to climb the ranks more quickly. With the Dragons and Faeries season coming to a close, this is the perfect moment to take full advantage of these bonuses.

What Is Brawl Stars Mega Rush?

Mega Rush is a short-duration event where players are rewarded with Mega Boxes for winning matches. Unlike previous Rush events that focused on coins, Power Points, or Starr Drops, this one centers around one of the most valuable rewards in the game.

Players can activate Mega Rush directly from the game mode selection screen. Once active, every victory contributes toward earning Mega Boxes within a limited time window. While the exact duration hasn’t been officially confirmed, it is expected to function similarly to Star Rush events, likely lasting around five minutes.

What Rewards Do Mega Boxes Offer?

Mega Boxes remain one of the most rewarding loot sources in Brawl Stars. Each box may contain:

  • Coins and Power Points
  • Credits
  • Gadgets, Star Powers, and Hypercharges
  • Pins, sprays, and player icons
  • Skins across various rarity levels
  • A small chance to unlock a new Brawler

While high-tier rewards like Hypercharges or rare skins have lower drop rates, players will still consistently receive useful resources. And with some luck, valuable items can still drop—making every box worth opening.

How to Get Mega Boxes Faster

The key to earning Mega Boxes is simple: win as many matches as possible during the event window.

One effective strategy is to use a newly unlocked Brawler with low trophies and play Solo Showdown. Lower trophy ranges often include bots, making matches quicker and easier to win.

Another important tip: even if you join a match in the final seconds of the event, your win will still count. Keeping an eye on the timer can help maximize rewards.

Mega Rush may be short, but it’s incredibly rewarding—especially for players looking to upgrade their Brawlers before the season ends. Efficient gameplay and smart timing can turn this brief event into a major progression boost.
