GamesIndustry.biz, citing analyst agency NPD Group, reported the success of Madden NFL 21 and UFC 4. Both games were newcomers to the August US game sales chart. PGA Tour 2K21 was the third project to visit the top 20 best-selling video games in the United States for the first time. Unlike Madden NFL 21 and UFC 4, the golf simulator did not even make the top ten, but stopped at the 14th line. As for a golf game, this result is quite good.
Super Mario Party, Super Mario Odyssey, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Luigi's Mansion 3 returned to the top 20.
