Ubisoft Confirmed Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Releasing on July 9, Reveal Trailer Unveiled

The wait is finally over. Just like it was announced earlier, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was finally revealed, with Ubisoft giving us a first look at the rebuilt version of 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

The studio started their presentation with a world premiere cinematic trailer, which also confirmed previous rumors and reports that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is launching on July 9 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. You can check out the world premiere trailer of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced below:

But it was just the beginning, as developers presented a detailed look at the remake and revealed some new information about the upcoming game. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is using Ubisoft’s new gaming engine—Anvil, and it demonstrates incredible visuals—enhanced high-resolution textures, photorealistic lighting, dynamic weather changes, improved and detailed cities teeming with life, expansive underwater exploration, and a completely seamless open world. Character animations and parkour are much smoother now, and the combat system focuses on action—with no health bar or other RPG elements, and crouch as your new weapon. Moreover, those who hate tailing and eavesdropping missions in the original game will be satisfied, as they were fully reworked in a better side, which is also confirmed in a reveal trailer.

Among the other new features that were previously leaked, you can bring a cat or a monkey aboard your ship as a pet, and it also features photo mode and new sailor shanties. As was also reported, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will add new characters and stories—three new officers will join Edward Kenway’s crew.

The game is already available for pre-orders across all platforms, and the system requirements of the PC version have already been revealed —it looks like it’s similar to last year’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
