Silent Hill Remake Is Not Expected to Be Released Soon

At last year’s Konami Press Start Showcase, a teaser for the original Silent Hill Remake was revealed. Just like with the remake of the second installment, this game will be developed by Bloober Team (Layers of Fear game series, Cronos: The New Dawn) and published by Konami.

We haven’t heard much about Silent Hill Remake since its announcement, and the recent report might tease a frustrating update for the fans. According to gaming insider Nash Weedle, gamers should gather patience, teasing that we are still far away from Silent Hill Remake’s release, as you can check out below:

“Just a heads-up... you’ll have to be patient, lots of patience!”

We have also seen the report from PlayStation insider TCMFGamer, who shared that Silent Hill Remake has been in development since 2022 and could be released in 2027. At the same time, Bloober Team, the developers of the upcoming title, are also working on various titles, which was confirmed.

As for Silent Hill franchise, the new spin-off, Silent Hill: Townfall, is expected to release this year on PC and PlayStation 5. The game is set in 1996’s fictional town of Scotland, St. Amelia, and follows Simon Ordell, who wakes up and doesn't understand how he ended up there. Silent Hill: Townfall is developed by Screen Burn Interactive studio.
