ARC Raiders Patch 1.23.0 Delayed to April 8

Embark Studios has announced a short delay for the next update in ARC Raiders, pushing patch 1.23.0 back by 24 hours. The update, originally scheduled for April 7, will now launch on April 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

While the game continues to receive major monthly updates, Embark has also maintained a steady cadence of smaller weekly patches focused on bug fixes and improvements.

Following the release of the Flashpoint update on March 31, Embark planned to roll out a routine weekly patch on Tuesday, April 7. However, the studio confirmed via its official Discord that the update has been postponed.

Patch 1.23.0 is now set to release on April 8 at:

  • 2 AM PT
  • 5 AM ET
  • 10 AM BST

This aligns with the game’s usual update schedule, despite the minor delay.

Details about patch 1.23.0 remain limited, but Embark has confirmed that the update will include:

  • The Vanguard Set cosmetic bundle
  • A range of bug fixes and general improvements

No major gameplay changes, new content, or balance adjustments are expected in this patch. Instead, it appears to focus on stability and minor quality-of-life updates.

I think this kind of smaller follow-up patch is expected after a large update like Flashpoint, especially when the priority shifts to fixing issues rather than adding new features.

Since its successful launch in late 2025, ARC Raiders has received consistent post-launch support. The game even secured the Best Multiplayer award at The Game Awards 2025, reinforcing its strong position in the genre.

Embark has outlined a long-term vision for the title, with plans to support it for up to 10 years. The 2026 roadmap includes four major updates between January and April, alongside regular weekly patches.

Although the upcoming patch is expected to address bugs, players are particularly hoping for a fix to a critical issue introduced after Flashpoint.

While the delay is minor, it highlights the importance of ensuring stability before deployment. Patch 1.23.0 is unlikely to change the meta but should improve overall gameplay reliability and introduce new cosmetic options for players.
