God of War Trilogy Remake Could Feature a Controversial Mini-Game from Original Titles

Announced at PlayStation’s State of Play in February, God of War Trilogy Remake is bringing back Sony’s classic in a new, enhanced version. The project is still believed to be at an early stage of development, but the fans are wondering and hopeful it will be similar to the original titles in terms of preserving the spirit and features that were provided to the players.

One of the most bizarre and, at the same time, entertaining features in the original God of Trilogy and also God of War: Chains of Olympus was sex minigames, and some gamers suggest Santa Monica Studio might cut this in Trilogy Remake versions. However, during the recent appearance at Megacon Orlando, TC Carson, the voice actor of the original Kratos, was asked whether sex mini-games will be in God of War Trilogy Remake. Although he didn’t confirm it directly, he thinks this feature will be presented, as you can check out below:

“You know what, all you dudes, all you men…I think so,”

It's curious that these sex mini-games in God of War video game were actually developed by women, which was confirmed by former Santa Monica Studio writer Alanah Pearce. God of War Trilogy Remake doesn’t have a release date yet, but according to PlayStation insider TCMFGames, the game is expected to release by 2028. Besides, we might expect two new God of War installments to be revealed this summer —the next mainline God of War set in Egypt and a new title featuring Faye from God of War: Ragnarok as the main character.
