As revealed by user janmatant on GTAForums, recently he bought an Xbox 360 for £5 at a car boot sale. But as it turned out, this console belonged to Rockstar North, a developing studio that is located in Edinburgh, where he bought the console. As a result, this specific version of Xbox 360 includes a beta build of Grand Theft Auto IV sized 118 GB, which includes a lot of content, seemingly, planned to be featured in the game but didn’t make it to the final cut.

According to this leak, GTA IV was about to feature way more different songs at radio stations, and some of the songs were noticed by another GTAForums user, MGgames100. There are also images of ferry from the game’s first-ever trailer, character models, and even a minigame featuring zombies. You can check out some of the images from the dev kit below:

As these files were hidden all this time, modders have already started to explore them, and we can expect a lot of new cut and unused features from Grand Theft Auto IV to be revealed soon. Traditionally, Rockstar Games hasn’t reacted to that kind of leak, as they were fully focused on Grand Theft Auto VI development. The studio has recently announced they are hiring testers, seemingly for GTA 6, though the game is not mentioned.

As we know, Grand Theft Auto VI is taking players back to Vice City, but the game could actually have some connection to Grand Theft Auto IV. According to a recent leak, Luis Lopez from The Ballad of Gay Tony may appear in the game, but what’s more important is that Lucia, one of the two protagonists in GTA 6, is having some connection to Liberty City, where GTA IV takes place. As mentioned on Rockstar Games' website in Lucia’s story, "More than anything, Lucia wants the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City—but instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands".
