Nintendo will increase production of its portable console

Bloomberg, referring to its sources within the company, spoke about Nintendo's intentions to increase Switch production. Based on the information received by the publisher, the total circulation of set-top boxes by the end of the fiscal year will be 30 million copies.

This decision was made by Nintendo in connection with the growing interest in their products. Obviously, the coronavirus pandemic played an important role in this. Remarkably, this is the second time that the Japanese giant has increased the circulation of Switch. In August, the company increased the number of copies from 22 to 25 million.

Bloomberg also managed to find out about Nintendo's plans for 2021. According to them, the company is preparing to release a new Switch model in 2021. Official statements from the Japanese company have not yet followed.
