UNITED24 and GSC Game World Raise Over $120,000 to Power Ukrainian Schools

The fundraising platform UNITED24, in partnership with game development studio GSC Game World, has raised more than $120,000 to provide generators for Ukrainian schools as part of the Bring Light Back campaign. The equipment will help educational institutions continue operating even during electricity outages.

According to UNITED24, the generators are powerful enough to fully supply electricity to school buildings, allowing classes and other school activities to continue without interruption.

One example comes from Odesa, where a generator enabled a local lyceum to operate normally for three days after the entire neighborhood lost power due to Russian shelling in January.

Despite ongoing challenges and periodic blackouts, UNITED24 emphasizes that the initiative helps ensure students can continue attending school in person, study in their classrooms, and stay connected with their teachers and classmates.
