Insider Reveals More Details of Upcoming BioShock 4

It is confirmed that a new BioShock video game is in development under Cloud Chamber studio, which is owned and published by 2K Games. Although we haven’t heard much official information about the game over the last few years, the latest report revealed some upcoming details we might expect from the fourth installment.

Specifically, gaming insider Scooper V has unveiled some information about BioShock 4 in his exclusive report. As it mentioned, the game is expected to have some RPG features, including the choices that will have an impact on the story, and also it will feature a realistic physics system and environmental alteration. Recently, an insider added some info to his previous report and revealed some new details of BioShock 4 that you can check below:

It seems like the mechanic of making decisions will be one of the most important features in BioShock 4. Of course, so far Cloud Chamber hasn’t confirmed any official details of the game, and reports by Scooper V should be considered with a grain of salt. However, a few months before the announcement of a new Tomb Raider video game at The Game Awards 2025, a scooper gave detailed information about what to expect from a new title—so he might be an available source.

As for now, BioShock 4 doesn’t have a release date and is expected to launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Netflix is also developing a live-action movie based on the original BioShock video game released in 2007, with Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games) set to direct. The production is reportedly starting next year.
