Kingdom Come: Deliverance Will Get a Movie Adaptation Made by Game Series Developer
Last year’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has given the game series a huge popularity, as the game was named one of the best titles of 2025 and one of the best RPGs over the past few years. The third Kingdom Come video game is rumored to be at an early stage of development, though Daniel Vavra, the creator of the franchise, is not involved, as he left the position of Warhorse Studios’ creative director.
Anyway, he's still related to Kingdom Come franchise, sort of. According to CzechCrunch, Daniel Vavra is now working on a movie adaptation of Kingdom Come: Deliverance; it is not mentioned whether it will be the direct adaptation of the first video game or the original story, but Vavra has already written a draft script, and he’s confident the movie will be successful. The CEO of Warhorse Studios Martin Fryvaldsky has revealed more in the interview with the Czech portal, and you can check his words below:
"We have been moving the Kingdom Come brand away from video games for some time now. So far, we have been in comics, concerts, and tourism, but the film has attracted us the most. That is why Dan and I are working on getting it onto the screen or the big screen. There is also a draft script.
You won't see Daniel Vavra in the office every day anymore, but in a broader sense he is still part of Warhorse.”

It is also now confirmed that the new creative directors of Warhorse Studios are design director Viktor Bocan and Prokop Jira, who was the lead designer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
