Clash of Clans February 2026 Update – Everything Revealed So Far
The upcoming season is introducing major improvements to the Gold Pass, but that’s only part of what’s coming. The February 2026 update for Clash of Clans is packed with fresh content, including new troop levels, upgraded defenses, a brand-new Spell Tower mode, 75 additional Walls to upgrade, a completely new Pet called the Greedy Raven — and the tease of an entirely new Hero.
Let’s break down everything announced so far.
New Hero Teased: Dragon Duke
Clash of Clans has officially teased a brand-new Hero named the Dragon Duke. However, once the update goes live, he will not be immediately playable.
After the update, players will be able to find the Dragon Duke listed inside the Hero Hall, marked with the message: “Breaking Loose Soon!” His stats are not yet available, and tapping the information tab reveals no additional details. The same applies in the Blacksmith, where his equipment appears but remains completely grayed out.
The Dragon Duke requires Hero Hall Level 9, meaning he unlocks at Town Hall 15.
He is expected to launch with three pieces of Common Equipment. However, his full abilities and gameplay details will only be revealed later, as players must participate in a special in-game event to officially unlock him.
New Pet: Greedy Raven
The headline feature of this update is the new Pet — the Greedy Raven.
To unlock it, players must upgrade the Pet House to Level 12, which costs 25.5 million Elixir and takes 13 days and 12 hours to complete.
Once unlocked, the Greedy Raven starts at Level 1 and is upgraded using Dark Elixir.
At maximum level, it has:
- 3,500 Hit Points
- 155 DPS
However, its defining trait is a 5x damage multiplier against resource buildings.
This means it deals an incredible 775 DPS to Storages, Town Halls, and other resource structures. It has an 8-tile attack range and prioritizes resource buildings within that range. If none are available, it will target defenses or enemy units.
This makes the Greedy Raven extremely powerful for farming strategies. It can rapidly destroy storages and Town Halls, making resource-focused attacks much more efficient. It also synergizes well with Warden Walks and Queen Charges aimed at resource-heavy compartments.
New Defense: Earthquake Spell Tower
The most significant defensive addition is the new Earthquake Spell Tower mode.

Upgrading the Spell Tower to Level 4 unlocks the option to switch it to Earthquake mode. The upgrade costs 27 million Gold and takes 14 days to complete (before any boosts).
When activated, the Earthquake Spell Tower deals 30% damage to ground troops within its radius. Air units are unaffected.
Like other Spell Towers, a ground troop must remain inside its range for 1.2 seconds to trigger it. Once activated, the tower has a 50-second rearm cooldown.
Earthquake Spell: New Levels and New Mechanics
The Earthquake Spell is receiving multiple new levels — but more importantly, it gains a new mechanic.
It now deals percentage-based damage to defending units, scaling up to 14% troop damage at higher levels.
While that number may not seem overwhelming on its own, it becomes especially impactful when combined with Fireball-based hero-sniping strategies. Players who use Fireball to weaken defending Heroes can now rely on upgraded Earthquake to finish them off more consistently.
