The studio recently announced its restructuring, and we now see the consequences of this decision in different waves. However, we have an official confirmation that, at least, two of Ubisoft’s franchises will get new titles soon.

During the latest interview with Variety, the CEO of Ubisoft and its co-founder Yves Guillemot confirmed the studio is currently working on two new Far Cry games and multiple Assassin’s Creed titles. Though he didn’t mention any other details, such as a possible reveal or release date, according to previous leaks, new Far Cry games have codenames Blackbird and Maverick; Blackbird is reportedly the next mainline game series title set in Alaska, while Maverick is described as extraction-based shooter.

As for Assassin’s Creed, we know Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s remake is in development, as well as Assassin’s Creed Hexe, another mainline game, which is reportedly set to release in 2027. Also, the multiplayer game Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus has been in development, though we haven’t heard much of the project for a while.

Let’s also not forget the latest information about the future Assassin’s Creed game taking place in the Aztec Empire, set to release after Assassin’s Creed Hexe. This video game might be at the early stage of development, as Ubisoft is likely to be focusing on Assassin’s Creed Hexe right now; the game was initially announced in September 2022 but still doesn’t have a release date.
