Bethesda is Still Working on a Fallout 3 Remastered

Despite multiple reports, Bethesda Game Studios hasn’t announced the remastered version of Fallout 3 yet; however, it doesn’t mean the game is not under development, and the new update only confirms that.

The Verge portal has recently released a new article called Here’s What Xbox Is Working on in 2026, and there are a few words about an unannounced Fallout 3 Remaster. Bethesda Game Studios is reportedly working hard on the game, and currently the studio is focusing on polishing the title so it could look as good as last year’s The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

According to the rumors, not only will Fallout 3 receive a remastered version soon, but Fallout: New Vegas as well. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Fallout: New Vegas Remaster in the article, as the game is likely to be in the early stage of development and will be released only after Fallout 3 Remaster.

At this point, Bethesda Game Studios hasn’t given any comments on Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas Remasters. The studio is also confirmed to be working on Fallout 5, which will be related to Amazon’s Fallout TV show.
