Fortnite Reload Elite Series Details Revealed for Esports World Cup
The Esports World Cup organizers have officially unveiled the format and key details for the Fortnite Reload Elite Series, one of the tournaments featured at the event. The competition is scheduled to run from August 19 to 22 and will offer a $1 million prize pool.
A total of 40 teams will earn their spots through the Reload Elite Series qualifiers. These qualifiers are open to teams from Europe, Central North America, West North America, Asia, the Middle East, Brazil, and Oceania. Once qualified, the duos will be split into two groups for the group stage.
Matches will be played across eight maps. The top seven duos from each group will advance directly to the Grand Final, while the remaining teams will battle for the final qualification slots. From this stage, six more duos will secure their place in the final round.
Each organization is permitted to register only one duo to represent it for the duration of the tournament. The results of that duo will contribute to the Club Championship standings. In cases where multiple duos from the same organization qualify, the spot will be awarded to the duo that qualifies first. Other players from the same club may still compete in the tournament, but their results will not count toward the club rankings.
