Version 1.3 Introduces The Masked Trope Sect

One of the standout additions in Version 1.3 is The Masked Trope, a new sect set to arrive on February 13. Drawing heavy inspiration from traditional Chinese opera, this sect uniquely blends theatrical performance with martial arts combat, offering a fighting style where opera serves as the soul and martial arts as the foundation.

The Masked Trope’s combat emphasizes fluid footwork, rhythmic strikes, and expressive techniques inspired by opera singing and stage performance. Players will be able to transition smoothly between offense and defense, executing graceful yet deadly maneuvers that make the sect both visually striking and mechanically engaging.

A New Mystic Skill: Contortion

Alongside the new sect, Version 1.3 introduces a new mystic ability called Contortion, which allows players to temporarily shrink their character. This skill opens up fresh traversal options and enables surprise attacks during critical moments. Players can test Contortion during the Spring Festival-themed activity Tiny Adventure, offering a playful twist on exploration and combat.

Two New World Bosses Arrive

Exploration in Version 1.3 becomes even more dangerous with the addition of two new World Bosses: Drunk Martial Artist and Coffin Master. Each boss features a distinct combat identity — one fights with chaotic, unpredictable movements, while the other delivers a dark, methodical presence. Facing them will require players to adapt to unique attack patterns and combat rhythms.

Guild War League Brings Long-Term Competitive Play

Guild-focused content is also expanding with the introduction of the Guild War League. This new competitive system will roll out in phases, beginning with placement matches that divide guilds into groups. From there, the league will move into a regular season format, where guilds compete in ranking-based battles for long-term progression and prestige.

Spring Festival Events and Rewards

To celebrate the season, Version 1.3 launches a Spring Festival Celebration running from February 6 to March 5. During the event, the Jianghu will be transformed with lantern-lit streets, festive decorations, and lively environments inspired by Chinese New Year traditions.
