MindsEye Gets Massive Update As Developers Look to Reset the Game

Developed by Build a Rocket Boy studio, led by former Grand Theft Auto franchise producer Leslie Benzies, MindsEye has been one of the worst gaming projects of 2025. Despite the game looking ambitious in the trailers, the title was absolutely horrible in terms of the technical part, but the gaming aspects were boring and empty as well.

However, it seems like the developers are not surrendering, and Build a Rocket Boy recently released a massive Update 7 that is “guided by players and community feedback.” The studio also mentions this update is the biggest post-launch yet and serves as “a reset for the brand and the title in 2026.” They also introduced the trailer called MindsEye—More Than It Seems, and you can watch it below:

Build a Rocket Boy also confirmed the studio will continue to release more updates to fix the game in the coming months, including a full multiplayer mode.
