Highguard Could Receive Single-Player Mod in the Future
Free-to-play first-person shooter Highguard is one of the biggest video game releases so far, developed by Wildlight Entertainment, former developers of Apex Legends and Titanfall.
Although the game currently has a ton of negative reviews on Steam, the developers have already presented their plan to support Highguard, and in the interview with TheGamer, the studio’s co-founders Dusty Welch and Chad Grenier have revealed the game could receive a single-player mode in the future, specifically, in two years.
"I hope we have the opportunity to continue telling a story in the game, continue adding new ways to play the game, expanding the modes and mechanics and all the things that are there. And selfishly, we crave a single-player experience someday. I hope in two years, the story is, did you see the TGA trailer last night? It’s the reveal of the single-player Highguard that we’ve all been asking for."
