Halo 2 Remake is Rumored to Be in Development

Microsoft recently confirmedHalo: Campaign Evolved, the remake of the first Halo title called Halo: Combat Evolved, is expected to release this year, but it could not be the only franchise video game remake that is currently in development.

As revealed by insider TCMFGames, with a reference to RebsGaming and HaloLeaks, the original Halo 2 video game, released back in 2004, could receive a remake soon, just like Halo: Combat Evolved. He also clarifies some game’s details, including the enhanced sprinting mechanic and focus on single-player campaign, as you can check in his post below:

“Halo 2 is rumored to get a remake like 1

- Halo 2 is being remade with sprinting per rumors;

- No multiplayer in this like the first remake;

- Has no current rumored target for release;”

At this moment, Microsoft or Halo Studios hasn’t given any comments about a potential Halo 2 remake, so this report should be considered with a grain of salt.
