Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Release Has Been Delayed
The remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, called Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which is still not officially confirmed by Ubisoft, was reportedly set to release before March 31, but everything leads to the game being delayed for one year.
Ubisoft has announced a massive restructuring inside the company, and as a result of this, the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and five more unannounced projects have been cancelled. Moreover, in the press release it’s been noticed that 7 new games that were initially planned for the 2026 financial year are not set to release in the 2027 financial year, as you can check below:
“In parallel, the Group will allocate additional development time to 7 games inorder to ensure enhanced quality benchmarks are fully met and maximize long-term value creation. This includes the unannounced title initially planned for FY26, that has been delayed to FY27.”
According to a previous report from insider Tom Henderson, Ubisoft was planning to introduce a bunch of new projects at this year’s Ubisoft Forward, including Far Cry 7, which was set to release this year. Although it was insider information and not confirmed by Ubisoft itself, it seems like, with their restructuring, some plans may have been changed for now.
