Insider Clarifies Grand Theft Auto VI Will Release This Year

The release date of Grand Theft Auto VI remains one of the hottest topics among the gamers; there is no confidence the game will be released on November 19, and reliable insiders regularly add some fuel to the fire with speculations about one of the most anticipated video games of all time.

Firstly, insider Tom Henderson reveals GTA VI won’t be postponed once again, and Rockstar Games is eyeing a release this November, as it stands. He also provides information on the game’s price, with the standard edition will cost $80, not $100, and the PC-version of Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in 2027.

However, almost right before his world, Jason Schreier from Bloomberg shared some information that disturbed the fans. According to Schreier, GTA VI is not content complete yet, and not even Rockstar Games is sure whether the game will be released in November. After that, users started to doubt the initial report from Tom Henderson; however, recently, the scooper clarified his word—and that could be another good sign about the GTA VI launch date.

During the latest appearance on Insider Weekly Gaming, Tom Henderson repeated he is still confident Grand Theft Auto VI will release this year, and he described the difference between “content-ready” and “content-complete.” Content-ready" is when the development pipeline and plans are in place, but not everything has been captured or filmed, while "content complete" is when everything has been captured and finalized. In the case of GTA VI, it’s not, as an insider revealed on January 9 the game is currently content-ready. He also remembers the Red Dead Redemption 2 situation, as the game wasn’t content-complete 4 months before release, as Rockstar Games did mocap back in 2018. Even Roger Clark, who voiced Arthur Morgan, once revealed his final day in the booth was 2 months before release.
