Resident Evil Zero Remake Details Revealed by Insider

The next Resident Evil game, called Resident Evil Requiem, is finally releasing next month, featuring Leon S. Kennedy and brand-new character Grace Ashcroft as main characters. But it looks like the franchise will continue to receive more remakes in the future.

Last month, insider AestheticGamer, aka Dusk Golem, revealed Capcom is working on upgraded versions of Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil Zero that are set to release in 2027 and 2028, respectively. Now, a new report from another scooper, TCMFGames, with a reference to MP1st, confirms Capcom is developing a Resident Evil Zero remake and eyeing a release in 2028.

He also provides some new information: the game’s codename is Project Chamber, and it’s a reference to the protagonist—Rebecca Chambers. The studio has begun voice acting and motion capture back in 2024, with actor Jon McLaren as part of the cast and probably playing another protagonist—Billy Coen.
