Marvel Rivals Adds Lady Loki As A Full Loki Reskin With New Voiceover

The Lady Loki skin is officially coming to Marvel Rivals, confirming NetEase’s plans for a gender-bent version of the Norse trickster tied directly to the existing Loki hero. The cosmetic is a full reskin of Loki rather than a separate character, preserving his role as a Strategist while changing his appearance and voice. NetEase confirmed the skin will be available from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST through January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.

The reveal settles weeks of speculation among players, some of whom expected Lady Loki to appear as a variant for Hela. Instead, the developer chose to rebuild Loki visually while keeping his kit intact. Lady Loki uses the same abilities as the base character, including Mystical Missile, Deception, and Doppelgänger. Gameplay remains unchanged, according to the reveal trailer, with the update focused entirely on presentation and audio.

The skin introduces a new voiceover performed by Abby Trott, who already voices Magik in Marvel Rivals. Her performance replaces Loki’s standard lines for the duration of the skin’s use, marking one of the more extensive cosmetic changes shown so far for the game. NetEase positioned the design as comics-accurate, drawing from established Lady Loki appearances rather than an original reinterpretation.

Marvel Rivals has frequently been compared to Overwatch, but NetEase continues to lean into high-profile Marvel variants to drive interest and monetization. The Lady Loki skin follows earlier character-focused cosmetics and reinforces the studio’s interest in alternate identities drawn from Marvel canon.

Following the announcement, fans have begun speculating about similar swaps in future updates. Frequently mentioned possibilities include Gwenpool as a Deadpool variant, Jane Foster as Thor, and Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman. NetEase has not confirmed any of those concepts. For now, Lady Loki stands as the first confirmed gender-swapped skin built directly on an existing hero, setting a clear precedent for future releases.
