According to Polish analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Project Orion, will release in the fourth quarter of 2030. He also confirmed previous comments from the developers that the game will include a multiplayer mode.

“The desire to integrate multiplayer mode into the production of Project Orio prompted us, Noble Securities, to extend the production time”. As a result, the budget has grown to PLN 1.5 billion, and we expect the release in Q4 2030”.

The details of unnamed Cyberpunk 2077 remain unknown, though we know Night City, a location from the original title, will be in the game, but there will be another Chicago-type city.

Cyberpunk 2077's sequel is likely to be released for PC and the new generation of consoles, although CD Projekt RED hasn’t confirmed it yet.
