Call of Duty Developer Vince Zampella Has Passed Away
Multiple sources confirm Vince Zampella, who previously served as CEO of Infinity Ward, was found dead after he crashed in a car accident on Angeles Crest Highway.
After leaving Infinity Ward in 2010, he joined Respawn Entertainment and was directly responsible for the release of Titanfall and Titanfall 2. During his career at Infinity Ward, he worked on such titles as Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
He also was involved in the development of the Medal of Honor franchise, Apex Legends, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. His last project was Battlefield 6.
