Infinity Ward Reacted to Recent Call of Duty Report Regarding Modern Warfare 4

A recent report from insider revealed some frustrating news about the next Call of Duty game, rumored to be Modern Warfare 4. According to TheGhostOfHope, the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is basically a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, released back in 2022—and most fans will definitely be unsatisfied, if that is true.

However, it seems like we don’t need to worry, at least for now. On social media X, Infinity Ward studio, responsible for making various Call of Duty titles, decided to congratulate all the players with upcoming holidays, and in some way, they reacted to rumors surrounding the next Call of Duty game, saying, “Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet,” as you can check their tweet below:

Though the developers didn’t mention Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in their tweet, it’s getting more likely they are in charge of the next franchise game, not Sledgehammer Games or Treyarch.

Hopefully, it’s not just empty words, and considering mixed and mostly negative reactions to Black Ops 7, the studio will work hard on the next Call of Duty game to make it a quality product.
