The Fans Are Divided Over Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Success at The Game Awards 2025

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has broken the record during The Game Awards 2025 show. The creation of Sandfall Interactive studio has won 9 of 13 awards it was nominated, beating The Last of Us: Part 2 that won 7 awards in 2020, and it’s a truly fantastic result for the game.

However, not all the fans liked this result. Especially, some users on X social media stated some big titles like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Ghost of Yotei, Split Fiction, Dispatch and Kingdom Come II: Deliverance hasn’t won anything because of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, though deserve it more. In particular, a lot of players thinks Kingdom Come II: Deliverance should have won Best RPG award because it’s just better as RPG than Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
