Bleach Is Finally Coming to Fortnite — Massive Chapter 7 Crossover Revealed
A well-known Fortnite leaker has revealed that Epic Games is preparing a crossover between the battle royale giant and the hugely popular anime Bleach, thrilling fans who have been waiting years for this moment. The news arrives shortly after the launch of Chapter 7, which introduced a Hollywood-themed map and collaborations with major film franchises such as Kill Bill and Back to the Future.
First airing in 2004 and concluding in 2012 with 366 episodes, Bleach follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high schooler who is suddenly pulled into the world of the Soul Society after gaining Shinigami (Soul Reaper) powers from Rukia Kuchiki. The anime returned in 2022 with an adaptation of the manga’s final arc, Thousand-Year Blood War, and the next chapter of the series is expected to arrive in 2026.
Fortnite is no stranger to anime collaborations. The game already features characters from major series such as Dragon Ball Super, One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and many others. Most of these franchises have even received multiple waves of cosmetics, delivering numerous iconic heroes and villains to the island. Still, some notable omissions have left fans asking Epic Games for even more anime crossovers.
Bleach Is Officially Coming to Fortnite in Chapter 7
In a recent post, prominent leaker HYPEX revealed that Bleach content is indeed on the way. While the exact character lineup remains unknown, the crossover is reportedly set to launch during Chapter 7 Season 1. With the current season ending in early March, players may not have to wait long before they can equip their favorite Bleach-themed cosmetics.
Although the scale of the collaboration is yet to be confirmed, fans are already rallying for the inclusion of beloved characters such as Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Byakuya Kuchiki, Kisuke Urahara, Orihime Inoue, and others. Even if the initial release features only a few of them, there’s always the possibility of additional waves in the future — a pattern that has already been seen with Dragon Ball Super and Jujutsu Kaisen.
What Players Hope to See
Many fans are hoping the crossover brings not only character skins but also iconic items and abilities from the Bleach universe. Fortnite has done this before — players once wielded the Kamehameha and used the Nimbus Cloud for mobility during the Dragon Ball events. Some are even dreaming about themed map locations, especially after the recent Stranger Things Blitz map and the fully cel-shaded Springfield environment in the Simpsons mini-season, though such large-scale collaborations remain rare.
More Anime Crossovers Could Be Coming
Bleach may not be the only major anime arriving soon. Recent leaks suggest that Fortnite could also see a crossover with Dragon Ball Daima in the future. Meanwhile, fans continue to eagerly request collaborations with long-desired series like One Piece, Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, and Inuyasha, though no credible hints have surfaced yet.
With so many collaborations happening and even more rumored to be on the horizon, Fortnite players have plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about what the future holds.
