The game appears to be really successful in terms of sales and how the players and critics appreciated it; it could have been a fresh start for the franchise – to make more remakes of previous titles or develop a new adventure – however, Electronic Arts doesn’t think so.

According to Insider Gaming Weekly, Dead Space franchise has been put “on ice” and decision has been already made by EA. Sources added studio is not expected to revive game series in the near future, so we shouldn’t expect more Dead Space remakes to release, as well as potential Dead Space 4.
