Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Remake Should Be Announced This Winter
We know for sure that Ubisoft are working on Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. According to the latest report, the game will be released before March 31, 2026 as Ubisoft revealed their financial report where they have some "unannounced title". We still don't know when they're going to present the remake of Black Flag, but, according to reliable insider, it could happen within two months.
Game industry insider Tom Henderson replied on X social media on how long should the fans wait until the official announcement of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Remake. He predicted it will happen in the middle of January, but could happen sooner as he added: "unless they give Keighley it'. Of course, he is saying about Geoff Keighley, the host of The Game Awards 2025; this might be the hint Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Remake could be officially announced during the ceremony on December 12.
According to previous reports, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Remake will feature content that was cut from the original game released in 2013; also, fighting system will be remade and it will look more like what we have seen in latest Assassin's Creed instalments.
