Bethesda Will Continue To Release Their Games Without Long Annoucements
On April 21 this year, Bethesda Game Studios officially announced the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - one of the all-time favorites RPG. But what made the fans more excited - the fact that the game actually were going to release on the next day, April 22. And it seems like the studio will continue to make that kind of announcements and releases about some of their upcoming projects.
The director of Bethesda Tom Mustaine recently spoke with GamesRadar where he discussed the idea of "shadow drop" releases. According to him, this idea belongs to Todd Howard, executive producer of Bethesda Game Studios.
"Todd Howard, the boss man, he's wanted to shadow drop things for a long time because it's great to be able to say, 'Here's the thing, get it today'. It's very valuable"
Considering that Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas remasted are confirmed to be in development according to the insiders, it seems like Bethesda may use the same tactics they used with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Who knows, maybe we will see an official announcement at The Game Awards 2025 which will happen on December 11.
