A New K-Pop Icon Takes the Stage in Fortnite Festival

Each season of Fortnite Festival spotlights a different artist, and 2025 has already featured major names such as Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, and The Gorillaz. Earlier in the year, the rhythm game even dedicated an entire season to virtual Japanese pop idol Hatsune Miku as part of a larger crossover with Fortnite’s main battle royale mode. Season 12 will now turn the spotlight toward one of the most influential groups in K-Pop.

Fortnite Festival Welcomes Blackpink’s Lisa

Epic Games has confirmed that Blackpink’s Lisa will serve as the featured artist for Fortnite Festival’s Season 12. The update is expected to introduce new tracks from both Lisa’s solo work and Blackpink’s discography. Players will also gain access to a new Lisa-inspired skin and themed cosmetics within Fortnite Festival and the main battle royale. Season 12 is set to begin on November 29.

Lisa’s arrival aligns with the launch of Fortnite’s next major competitive season, kicking off Chapter 7. Recent leaks hint at a significant content drop for Chapter 7, including the return of reboot vans for reviving teammates and new vehicles such as hot air balloons. Major crossovers are also on the horizon, with Kill Bill and Back to the Future both expected to receive their first Fortnite collaborations during the new season.

Fortnite Prepares for a Massive Chapter Finale

As players anticipate what’s next, Epic Games is preparing to close out Chapter 6 in dramatic fashion. The “Zero Hour” event—scheduled for the same day Chapter 7 launches—will wrap up Chapter 6 by bringing together several standout collaborations, including Godzilla, Star Wars, and The Simpsons. Epic has also introduced a special “No Sweat Weekend,” offering smaller lobby sizes and boosted XP gains.
