The news comes just as Fortnite wraps up its massive Fortnitemares Halloween event and launches a new mini-season themed around The Simpsons. This update brings a Springfield-inspired overhaul to the main island, featuring iconic locations like Moe’s Tavern, The Kwik-E-Mart, and the Simpson family home, along with skins for Homer, Marge, and Ned Flanders.

Reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX recently teased that a SpongeBob SquarePants crossover is “coming soon.” Although specific details remain under wraps, fans can expect skins based on major SpongeBob characters, as is standard for Fortnite collaborations. No release date or content lineup has been confirmed yet.

This wouldn’t be Fortnite’s first partnership with Nickelodeon.
