Scopely Introduces MONOPOLY GO! Chat — A New Way for Players to Connect

Scopely has officially unveiled MONOPOLY GO!Chat, a companion app built to strengthen the connection between players of the hit mobile game MONOPOLY GO!. The app is currently being tested in France, with a worldwide rollout scheduled for early 2026.

MONOPOLY GO! Chat serves as the game’s official communication hub — a place where players can easily chat, coordinate, and plan with friends, family, and teammates. No longer limited by preset in-game messages, users can now share detailed strategies, exchange quick updates, or simply hang out and talk between events.

The app supports both one-on-one and group chats, making it especially useful for organizing sticker trades and helping teammates complete their collections faster. It also includes smart notifications that alert players when someone on their team needs assistance, making collaboration smoother than ever.

Why It’s a Separate App

Unlike many games that embed chat features directly, Scopely opted to release MONOPOLY GO!Chat as a standalone app. While some players may find switching between two apps slightly inconvenient, this design choice allows both apps to run more efficiently and ensures that chat functionality doesn’t interfere with gameplay performance.
