Behind the project is PlaySide Studios, a team known for jumping between genres with surprising success. In recent years, they’ve released the stylish arena shooter Kill Knight, followed by the dark fantasy strategy Age of Darkness: Final Stand. Now, they’re working on an ambitious RTS inspired by StarCraft, set in the Game of Thrones universe — Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, due out in 2026. Given the studio’s strong track record across wildly different projects, Dumb Ways to Party has every chance to be another hit.
