PS5 Pro Model Revision Reportedly Launching in Europe on September 30

Sony’s flagship console, the PlayStation 5 Pro, is rumored to be receiving its first hardware revision before the end of September. According to a new report, the revised model will arrive in Europe on September 30, though fans should not expect a complete overhaul or “Slim” redesign. Instead, the adjustments appear to be minor refinements aimed at improving efficiency while keeping the console’s look, feel, and performance identical to the launch version.

The PS5 Pro made its debut in November 2024, boasting notable upgrades over the base PS5. The console featured a strengthened GPU and introduced PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), Sony’s proprietary AI-powered upscaler that significantly enhances image quality in supported titles. Early reception to the hardware was generally positive, with most feedback highlighting the system’s power and stability.
