Final Fantasy 14 Reveals Monster Hunter Wilds Crossover Rewards

On September 19, Square Enix unveiled the first wave of rewards for the upcoming Final Fantasy 14 crossover with Monster Hunter Wilds. The collaboration will introduce a new trial, alongside exclusive items such as mounts, minions, and cosmetic glamour sets. The event is slated to begin in early October 2025, likely coinciding with Patch 7.35.

🎮 A Return to Monster Hunter Collaboration

The crossover was officially revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live in August, marking FF14’s second team-up with Capcom’s monster-slaying franchise. The first collaboration, introduced during Stormblood, brought Rathalos to Eorzea.

This time, the Warriors of Light will face Guardian Arkveld in a new eight-player trial titled The Windward Wilds, available on both Normal and Extreme difficulties.

🏆 Crossover Rewards Confirmed (as of September 19, 2025)

• Hope Armor Set – the starter gear from Monster Hunter Wilds, now a glamour set (including a cap wearable by Viera).
• Guardian Arkveld (G Veldian) Weapons – themed weapons inspired by Wilds; unclear whether purely cosmetic or functional.
• Seikret Mount – rideable creature from the Wilds universe.
• Seikret Hatchling & Scoutfly Minions – companions for collectors.
• Campsite Outdoor Furnishings – housing items based on Monster Hunter Wilds camps.

Square Enix teased that more rewards will be revealed later, but these remain under wraps for now.

🔥 A Permanent Addition

Like the earlier Monster Hunter World crossover — which introduced the fan-favorite Rathalos mount — the new collab will be a permanent fixture in FF14. That means players can challenge Guardian Arkveld and collect rewards at their own pace, without fear of missing out.

The Monster Hunter Wilds crossover launches in early October 2025, alongside Patch 7.35. The patch will also add:
