Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Free Collei in Version 6.1

The latest beta build of Genshin Impact suggests that players will receive a free Collei during Version 6.1 by participating in its upcoming Flagship Event.

Following the debut of Version 6.0, which opened up Nod-Krai, HoYoverse introduced three new characters, a fresh region, and the first chapter of the Song of the Welkin Moon. Now, Version 6.1 is set to continue the momentum with:

• Nefer, a new ★5 Dendro Catalyst
• The open beta for Miliastra Wonderland
• A major Flagship Event in Sumeru

✨ Version 6.1 Overview

Unlike its predecessor, Version 6.1 will not expand Nod-Krai’s map, meaning fewer Primogems overall. Its Event Banners are expected to feature Nefer, Furina, Arlecchino, and Zhongli.

Leaks also indicate that Arlecchino may take center stage in the next Archon Quest, making this update especially story-heavy. For players eager to pull Nefer, leakers recommend securing Lauma in 6.0 if they have extra Intertwined Fates to spare.

🎁 Free Collei Reward

According to trusted leaker HomDGCat, Version 6.1 will grant every player a free copy of Collei, the ★4 Dendro Bow user from Sumeru.

• While she’s not considered the top-tier Dendro support, Collei still fits well in Hyperbloom comps and pairs effectively with Clorinde in Aggravate setups.
• The Flagship Event will also highlight other Sumeru favorites like Dehya and Faruzan.

🤔 Community Reactions

Although fans welcome free ★4 units, some argue that the system feels dated. Many players already have event characters at C6, and the Lantern Rite’s 4-Star selector in Liyue has sparked calls for HoYoverse to expand that feature to other regions.

At the same time, HoYoverse has been increasingly generous:

• Starting in Version 6.0, players can earn free Constellations for select characters.
• The 2025 Anniversary Event also comes bundled with ascension materials, easing progression.

📅 Release Date

The Flagship Event is expected to arrive during the first half of Version 6.1, which officially launches on October 22, 2025. Collei may even appear on one of the Event Banners alongside Nefer.
