Consistent Leaks Before Release

In the months leading up to launch, Battlefield 6 has suffered frequent leaks despite strict non-disclosure rules for playtesters. Much of this content seems to come from the Battlefield Labs program, which grants players limited access to test parts of the game. While this has been frustrating for the developers, eager fans have enjoyed getting early glimpses of what’s to come.

Blackwell Field: Kern County, California

The latest leak was shared by a user going by Misaka_Mikoto_01, who uploaded a video of a map reportedly named Blackwell Field. The setting is located in Kern County, California, and features oil rigs, an airport runway, rugged hillsides, and a small town. The action takes place around sunset, with a cloudy sky painted in glowing pinks and oranges along the horizon.

Although most of the footage highlighted the map codenamed Badlands, the video also included a short look at another California-based location called Eastwood. Unfortunately, the original video has since been removed, but EA’s quick takedown strongly suggests the leak was authentic.

A Trusted Source of Leaks

This isn’t the first time Misaka_Mikoto_01 has drawn attention. The same leaker previously revealed early footage of Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode, further adding credibility to their claims.

Hype Builds for October Launch

As October approaches, anticipation for Battlefield 6 continues to grow. While the developers would certainly prefer to keep details hidden until launch, the leaks have helped keep the game in the spotlight. Combined with official updates—such as confirmation that Battlefield 6 will feature more realistic cosmetics than Call of Duty—these reveals have only fueled excitement.
