The spectacle went beyond static portraits — drones came together to form a majestic dragon from the Mists of Pandaria expansion, drawing cheers from fans. The event culminated in a powerful tribute: a giant 20th anniversary logo floating high above the cityscape.

Alongside the visual celebration, NetEase — the company operating World of Warcraft’s Chinese servers — hosted a festive livestream event dedicated to two decades of WoW. The combined tribute served as a heartfelt salute to one of the most influential games of all time, sparking joy and nostalgia among millions of fans worldwide.
