The non-profit organization Care Esports has once again proven that gaming has no age limit. In its eleventh senior-focused tournament, the group hosted an online Tekken 8 competition featuring participants between the ages of 60 and 93.

Taking the spotlight was 73-year-old Yoshie Murabe from Japan, who secured victory using the beloved character Panda. To ensure accessibility and enjoyment for all, players competed using simplified combo settings, leveling the playing field across different skill levels.

More than just a competition, the event was part of Care Esports' ongoing mission to support mental health and social engagement among the elderly through interactive gaming. As a symbol of her achievement, Murabe received a champion’s trophy—and perhaps more importantly, the admiration of a growing community redefining what it means to be a gamer.
