Minecraft has always been a sandbox for creativity, with players constantly recreating iconic characters and scenes from pop culture. With the recent release of the How to Train Your Dragon live-action film, it’s no surprise that interest in the franchise has sparked a fresh wave of fan-made content — and this Toothless build is a standout.

On Reddit, Minecraft creators Kaizens87 x Niquoles unveiled their stunning rendition of Toothless. The blocky sculpture is impressively faithful to the dragon’s design in both the animated films and the new live-action version. Toothless is shown perched gracefully, tail wrapped around his body, with a curious gaze fixed forward. Every detail is spot-on — from the mechanical tail fin designed by Hiccup, to the fan-favorite “blep” expression with Toothless’ tongue adorably sticking out.

The post quickly gained traction, with fans praising the build’s precision, creativity, and emotional accuracy. Many were curious about the process, wondering if third-party tools were involved. Kaizens87 clarified that the model was crafted entirely in Minecraft’s Creative Mode, without external building aids.

However, the breathtaking visuals of the final product were rendered in Blender, a 3D modeling and animation program. This allowed the creators to add extra effects — like Toothless’ glowing eyes — and present the model in cinematic quality.
