Deadmau5 Might Be the Next Star of Fortnite Festival — Here’s What We Know

Two well-known Fortnite leakers, BeastFNCreative and Loolo_WRLD, have hinted that Deadmau5 could be the next major artist featured in Fortnite Festival. This comes just after the launch of Chapter 6 Season 3 of Fortnite’s battle royale mode, which introduced DC superheroes like Superman and Robin. While Superman will become available to all Battle Pass owners on July 11, players can unlock the skin early by purchasing a Battle Bundle.

Big Names, Big Performances

Fortnite Festival is known for spotlighting major music acts, having previously featured stars like Lady Gaga, Metallica, Hatsune Miku, and Sabrina Carpenter. Each season brings a new Festival Pass, a redesigned stage, fresh cosmetics, and a lineup of Jam Tracks for players to enjoy. The current season is set to end on June 17, paving the way for new content shortly after.

The Deadmau5 Leak

According to the recent leak, Deadmau5 will be headlining the next Festival season starting June 18. The artist, whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, is known for his signature electro house sound and iconic helmet—similar to acts like Marshmello and Daft Punk. The leak also mentions that Deadmau5 may come with custom gear like a keytar and drum set, though it’s unclear what other cosmetics will be included in the Festival Pass.

Fans Still Hoping for T-Pain

While many fans are excited about Deadmau5, some were surprised, as there had been ongoing speculation around rapper T-Pain joining Fortnite Festival. Earlier this year, Epic Games teased fans with a mockumentary featuring a fictional rap feud between Big Dill and T-Pain, sparking rumors of his possible inclusion. There were also earlier leaks suggesting Daft Punk might headline Season 9, but recent updates seem to rule that out.

What’s Next for Fortnite?

Another major leak hints that full-scale music concerts might return in Chapter 7. Fortnite has hosted massive in-game events in the past featuring stars like Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem. With new seasons bringing more content and fan-favorite collaborations, the community remains optimistic about the game’s evolving future—especially for fans of music and virtual concerts.
