Shannon Ingles joins Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet — new narrative talent on board

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, the upcoming game from Naughty Dog, has brought on a new writer — Shannon Ingles. She announced her joining the studio via her LinkedIn page.

Shannon Ingles is an experienced writer with an impressive track record. She previously worked on several Telltale Games projects, including Batman: A Telltale Series, The Walking Dead, and Tales from the Borderlands. Her portfolio also includes God of War: Ragnarok, Silent Hill: Ascension, and Judas — the upcoming title from BioShock creator Ken Levine.

It seems the final version of the script for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is still in development. Actor Steven Chang, involved in the project, previously mentioned that the cast is receiving the script in fragments. Judging by the talent involved, this game has strong potential to be a major success. It could very well become a contender for a Game Awards nomination in the year of its release.

The game was first revealed at The Game Awards 2024, but when we’ll actually see it is still unknown — no release date or even a rough window has been announced.
